gates with pre-fabricated concrete components provided by the customer,
preliminary frames, integrated underclearance for loading tailboards (sliding-adjustable
ramps are only inserted in the concluding phase of the construction project).

BUTT - Inflatable dock shelters
Optimal sealing of your loading dock.
The infl atable dock shelter Type 800 manufactured by
BUTT combine optimal sealing with a variety of user applications.
The infl atable side and top cushions provide
an almost airtight seal. This makes the sealing unit suitable
for cold storage and climate-controlled warehouses.
The intrusion of summer heat, winter cold, drafts, dust
and insects is virtually eliminated. This results in considerable
energy savings and reduces sick leave-absence
of warehouse personal. In addition there are further advantages.
The infl atable side and top cushions not only
guarantee optimal sealing, but also adjust themselves
automatically to the vehicles external measurements by
a maximum of 1,2500mm in height and 800mm in width.
This can seal off vehicles of varying dimensions eff ectively
at the loading areas. These advantages make Type 800
a good investment.

The materials used are of the highest quality and extremely durable. The
infl atable cushions are manufactured from high quality Cordura, which has many
positive characteristics such as high resistance to tearing, colourfastness,
and are damp and mildew resistant. The frame is extremely robust, manufactured
from ISO panels. The standard of frame colour is light grey.
Type 800 can be supplied with a ramp-base or a fl oorbase. Ramp-base models
are installed on loading bays where the warehouse fl oor and the vehicle-loading
base are at approximately the same level. The floor-base model is utilised at
same-level loading areas. When not in operation the cushions (defl ated) are
retracted behind the front panels of the door seal, ensuring unimpeded vision
for the driver when reversing to the loading area. This benefi cial attribute
is applicable on each of the series. As soon as the vehicle is in the loading
situation, the cushions are infl ated within 15 seconds, providing a perfect
seal on both the side and top of the vehicle rear opening. A practical side eff
ect of this system is that the loading area remains un-impeded, which is often
not the case when canvas type sealing systems are used. This results in optimal
accessibility of the loading are as well as a maximum working area on the loading
ramp. Integral infl atable under cushions are standard on all models. This provides
for the sealing of the last opening on the rear of the side cushions. |
