BUTT Loading Ramps & Industry Gates is a
manufacturer of a wide range of loading systems including mobile loading ramps,
transfer bridges, gate seals, loading locks, scissor-type lift-tables, and industrial
gates. Moreover, we develop and fabricate individual solutions for the entire
loading industry in our own factory. Our company philosophy as a family-led company
will continue to be the foundation of our core values in the future. |

The company was founded in 1974 by the present managing director and sole
owner Hans Jochen Butt, who developed it from a one-man operation to the present
medium-sized company with over 65 employees.
At our company, you can obtain everything you require from one source. Our
qualified teams are always at your service, whether it be for planning, construction,
fabrication, assembly, distribution or annual maintenance and inspections. Let
us take care of all of your needs. Our vehicles deliver directly to the customer
and work with integrated cranes to install our products securely and with excellent
workmanship. In addition, our fleet of vehicles operates nation-wide, providing
fast and trouble-free handling, maintenance and inspections in compliance with
accident prevention regulations.

| Production and expansion
|
|
In 1990 we founded the Berlin branch in Seefeld, thus offering you even
faster service.
BUTT Loading Ramps-Industrial Gates constructed an additional
20x62 m production facility on a 20,000 m² site, which went into operation
at the beginning of 1997. Also, a new, ultramodern painting facility was created,
enabling the automatic application of ground-coats and paint to all products in
the customary BUTT quality.
At present, BUTT Loading Ramps-Industrial Gates operates six
fully autonomous production facilities both for the German market and –
increasingly - for the global market.

We like to meet challenges! For that reason we place special value on
finding an innovative solution for your individual loading problems. Together
with our customers, we develop and realise special constructions, such as mobile
loading ramps with a load-bearing capacity of up to 42 tonnes, scissor-type lift-tables
for the paper industry with a platform size of 7 x 8 m or mobile lifting bridges
for spanning over a stretch of rails.
Customised loading systems, such as complete, thermally insulated loading
zones including all of the required components are another BUTT
business segment. Our own design and construction department with ultramodern
CAD systems offers you the guarantee of design and fabrication from one source.
